As our community continues to find a way forward after the events of 5/14/2022, we must remember that this was NOT an individual attack. Racism is abundant, systemic, and deadly. Due to the increasing levels of white supremacist violence strangling our nation and city your support is needed now more than ever.  You can support these targeted communities by taking part in our Donate 1 campaign!

Donate 1 is a campaign of trauma therapists in and around WNY willing to dedicate one space on their caseloads for free trauma therapy to an individual affected by racially motivated violence. Saturday’s mass shooting is a painful reminder of just how close to home this issue is. This was a racially motivated planned attack on a largely Black neighborhood in Buffalo’s east side- which took the lives of 10 innocent community members. This act of racial violence has left our community reeling as it processes the violence.

You can support the Donate 1 campaign by donating today. The funds raised will go towards mental health in the Black community as well as allow us an opportunity to provide stipends to Black and Brown therapists willing to donate one.
