What do you specialize in?: Offering EMDR Therapy as individual therapy (hourly and multi-hour or as multi-day intensives) and EMDR Consultation for any EMDR trained clinician working toward certification, or professional growth. I am an OEF military veteran and specialize in EMDR for complex/developmental trauma. Using Attachment-Focused and integrative, biofeedback, somatic, and nervous-system oriented approaches in therapy, we will access your natural ability to heal and change. In addition to being trained as a Certified EMDR Therapist and EMDRIA Approved Consultant, I have extensive training in the Polyvagal Theory and it's clinical approaches. Additionally, I specialize in creative uses of EMDR and have developed one of the only published nature-based integrations of EMDR, Therapeutic Fly-fishing with EMDR (TF-EMDR).
Through my group practice, Counseling Without Walls (CWW), I offer integrative EMDR therapy virtually throughout NY, as well as in VT, CA, IA, MA, ME & worldwide as laws allow. If my caseload is full, another CWW therapist whom I supervise may be able to assist you. My work is focused on helping your nervous system and inner child repair itself after trauma. I have witnessed many of clients alleviate long-standing struggles/challenges related to Complex PTSD, unresolved childhood trauma, and related addiction issues by working in this way.
